Software and New Technologies Developer

Do you have experience as a software developer? Would you like to be part of the digital area of a technology center with international connections? Read on to find out what we can offer you!  

The main mission will be to contribute to the business development of the digital innovation area of the Technology Center in Basque Culinary Center.   

Our main lines of work are focused on:   

  •  Managing co-development projects of new technology-based products, services and business models. 
  • Understanding and applying current research processes, working collaboratively with profiles from different disciplines: culinary arts, food technology, nutrition, biology, economics... 
  • Participate in solving problems and challenges in the gastronomy value chain related to more efficient, intelligent and sustainable processes and operations, personalized food, multisensory experiences, formulation of new foods...).  
  • Promote the collaboration of industrial partners, participating in the development of offers to customers and supporting projects in different areas of R+D+i of the technology center.    
  • Maintain dialogue with other technology centers and industrial companies with which we will collaborate in the construction of demonstration and functional prototypes of concepts and solutions previously designed with BCC Innovation (machinery, digital tools, platforms, etc.).  

Requirements

Do you identify yourself with the following characteristics?  

  • You have a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or similar.   
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in programming, software architecture and extensive knowledge of multiple languages and frameworks.  
  • You have previous experience in creation, development and evaluation of prototypes and early concept validation.  
  • You have knowledge in test design and feedback analysis for continuous improvement.  
  • You have the ability to correctly visualize or investigate the technological feasibility of an innovative solution or idea in a specific environment.  
  • You are motivated to continuously learn and keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.   

You will make a difference if:   

  • You have the capacity for autonomous management and execution of product/service design projects throughout all its stages, giving special importance to the inclusion of end-users in the different design stages.  
  • You have a high level of communication skills in Spanish, Basque and English.   
  • You have the ability to apply technological knowledge from different fields in the development and prototyping of projects.   
  • You have skills such as teamwork, meticulousness, precision, resolution and creativity.
  • You have experience in back-end development with proven ability to build and maintain robust systems, as well as knowledge of object-oriented programming and CI/CD development practices.
  • You are proficient in multiple development frameworks for web and mobile applications, and have experience with low-code and no-code platforms. 
  • You have an official disability certificate equal to or higher than 33%.
