The third edition of UNWTO’s World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism will be taking place from the 8-9 May at the Basque Culinary Center.
The forum is organised by the UNWTO in collaboration with the Basque Culinary Center and with the support of the San Sebastian Town Hall, Gipuzkoa Provincial Government and the Basque Government.
Experts from 20 countries representing all levels of government entities, entrepreneurs, academics and chefs take part in panels, presentations and workshops, will explore the relationship between gastronomy tourism and sustainability; a subject framed within 2017, International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development.
The Forum will be dedicated to straighten the relationship between sustainability and Gastronomy Tourism, underlining the valuable role of Gastronomy Tourism in the sustainable development of tourist destinations.
