Basque Culinary Center is looking for a Professor to join the Food Design and Technology team. If you are passionate about the world of gastronomy and want to be part of a pioneering international institution, read on to find out what we have to offer you!
Your mission will be the design, development and delivery in collaboration with the rest of the team of the subjects related to the specialization path of Food Design and Technology, both in the theoretical and practical part.
In addition, you will also design the food safety strategy of the BCC activities, implementing the training and awareness model in food safety of the people who are part of BCC.
Qualities we are looking for...
- PhD in Food Quality and Safety or similar related to Food Technology.
- Consolidated experience, more than 5 years, participating and leading projects related to gastronomy, food industry and/or culinary sciences.
- High interaction skills (C1) in English, as classes will be taught in this language.
You will make a difference if...
- You have knowledge of Procurement and Logistics and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
- You have designed and implemented HACCP verification models through audits and indicator control.
- You have experience in teaching (formal or informal).
- You have experience in the use of learning platforms (Moodle...) and ERP (Business Central...).
- You consider that you can also use Basque as a professional language.
- You have the Certificate of official disability equal to or greater than 33%.
