About BCC

Basque Culinary Center constitutes a unique ecosystem where education, innovation, research, and entrepreneurship coexist with the aim of developing and advancing gastronomy, understood as the reasoned knowledge of what we eat and how we prepare it. Its mission is grounded in values such as passion, innovation, a commitment to excellence, and social responsibility.

Since its establishment in 2011 in Donostia-San Sebastián, this pioneering institution has developed its vision of 360º Gastronomy through a variety of high-impact initiatives. Today, Basque Culinary Center has consolidated itself as a major project with international reach, composed of the Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences, which offers a degree in gastronomy and 13 master’s programs; GOe – Gastronomy Open Ecosystem, where talent, knowledge, and innovation converge to promote flavorful, healthy, and sustainable food that contributes to creating a delicious future; and EDA Drinks & Wine Campus, an initiative aimed at strengthening the wine and beverage sector through education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurial support.
