Logistics Technician

Description

Basque Culinary Center needs to incorporate to the operations department a purchasing, procurement and logistics technician for the buildings that make up BCC. The main objective is to support the logistics area, through the purchase, reception and storage of raw materials necessary for all the activities carried out in the different buildings of BCC. As a technician, you will be in charge of order management and internal customer service, management of the logistics areas and the development of the activity.

Your main mission will be to ensure the proper functioning of the purchasing management and the following functions:

- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of purchases from suppliers and logistics operations.

- Internal customer service: You will attend internal customer requests, satisfying their needs, as well as solving problems.

- Purchasing management: You will participate in the purchasing process, as well as the execution of orders, contact with suppliers, reception and provisioning of products.

- Optimization of logistics processes: You will collaborate in the identification of improvement opportunities in the current logistics processes. This involves the analysis of existing procedures, the detection of areas for optimization, the formulation of innovative solutions and their implementation.

- Support in the execution of projects: You will contribute to the implementation of logistics projects. This includes collaborating with part of the logistics team, setting objectives and action plans, coordinating with other departments and reporting on progress.

- Supplier approval: You will participate in the supplier approval process, through a comprehensive analysis, to determine that they are suitable to perform the services to be covered.

Requirements

Requirements: 

- You have consolidated experience, preferably between 3 and 5 years, in the field of food and beverage, restaurant kitchens, hotels or food chains.

- You have a university degree related to management and workflows (ADE, Engineering in organization, degree in gastronomic sciences...).

- You have office automation skills; Office 365, Google systems, Project, as well as experience using different ERP.

- Ability to interact in English and Basque (B2).

- Certificate of official disability equal to or greater than 33%.
